Spring is here and many big name musicians will be coming to Virginia during the month of April 2023. From major country acts to the biggest names in rock and pop, catch your favorite artists and discover new ones all over the Commonwealth.
On April 19-23, the Tom Tom Founders Festival takes over downtown Charlottesville with live music, block parties, food and drinks from local vendors, public art displays, workshops, and talks from innovators in a myriad of startup industries.
Throughout April and running through June, the Virginia Arts Festival will be bringing hundreds of world-class performing arts in venues throughout the Hampton Roads area. Major performances in April include the Philadelphia Ballet performing Swan Lake (April 14-16), German vocal ensemble Calmus (April 24), jazz group Mames Babegenush (April 27), and the Virginia International Tattoo (April 20-23), the largest spectacle of music honoring military from around the world.
Something in the Water Festival, a passion project for internationally-renowned artist Pharrell Williams, is a three-day music festival in Virginia Beach April 28-30. This year’s lineup boasts big names names like 100 Gecs, Clipse, Grace Jones, Kamasi Washington, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, Machine Gun Kelly, Maren Morris, Mumford & Sons, Skrillex, The Kid LAROI, Wale, Wet Leg, and Wu-Tang Clan among many others.
